He graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) where
he studied theatre directing at the Faculty of Drama and Puppetry a
He focuses on theatre, literature and translating - as a director he works for various Slovak
theatres, wrote a number of literary texts (Tma (Darkness), 1998; Nepokoj (Anxiety), 1999; Re: no subject,
2001), radio plays (Chúťky (Whims), 2001), a novel (Prime Time (2006)), and translated a number of theatre
plays (plays by Marius von Mayenburg, Thomas Bernhard and Peter Turrini).
He participated in the drama workshop for young playwrights at the
Bonner Biennale 2002 in Germany. In 2008 he became a lecturer of the New Writing project launched by the Bratislava Theatre Institute. He works as a TV dramaturg, scriptwriter of TV series
and as an external lecturer at the VŠMU where he teaches playwriting.
